Added a little Booklet featuring one of my favorite musicians, guitarists and songwriters, Mark Knopfler.

Another Christmas Carol upon request.
And just because Christmas is approaching, this is also playable in re-entrant regular Tuning.
December 07, 2020
A really busy year and almost no business break. At least I made it to the annual Christmas tune. It is John Lennon's
Happy Xmas (War is over). Wish all of you a joyful festive season !

Don't be afraid kids, I kept the Wolf out of this.
- Peter and the Wolf / Peter Theme (Ukulele. Low G)
September 21, 2020
One of the catchiest piano intros I ever heard
August 21, 2020
A little Chuckulele today. The song with the two titles.
- You never can Tell / C'est la Vie (Uke)
August 15, 2020
In general, Black Sabbath says absolutely nothing to me. Most of their stuff goes in one ear and out the other immediately.
But this one is nice.
August 12, 2020
A nice little Disney Melody from Mary Poppins. In this sizzling heatwave these days I just cannot think of anything more complex.
- Chim Chim Cher ee (Ukulele. Low G)

Sad News. Maestro Ennio Morricone has passed away last week. His music will remain.
- Once Upon a Time in the West (Guitar)
July 07, 2020
A lot of new stuff before I leave for a short summer vacation.
We have another new section with Guitar Compilations. It already includes two entries:
- the Beatles Collection, extended and updated (removed from the Guitar Tabs Page and placed here)
- a compilation of Old School Fingerstyle Classics
And two more in Dropped D:
Have a great Summer...

Believe it or not, here comes in fact tune # 500 of this website, if you count in the compilation tunes.
Time to celebrate myself, if nobody else does. There are not so many songs that bear my name in the title
(ok, „Heinz-Rüdiger“ or „Klaus-Dieter“ have even less hits). So this one is perfect for the occasion.
- Frank Theme by Ennio Morricone from "Once Upon a Time in the West" (Guitar)
Ukulele version is in the making.

Hello again after some weeks spring break.
Starting over with a tune that could be the motto theme of this website.
And something completely different that was asked for after the recent post of it in the guitar section:
- Sah ein Knab' ein Röslein sehen (Uke)
April 12, 2020
Spring cleaning continues in the basement archive. Found some really old stuff.
- Sah ein Knab' ein Röslein stehn (Guitar)
and, upon request, my attempt on Teddy Bear's Picnic (Guitar)
That was a lot in the last days. I will have to take a little break over springtime, see you in Summer.
Consider the little green button at the bottom, take care of yourselves, and stay tuned.

I usually forget birthdays. But here in Germany, you are permanently reminded on Beethovens
250iest.
Here is something I always wanted to make playable for guitar and took the time to do so
in the last weeks.
The beautiful second movement of the Sonate Pathetique (Guitar, regular). Transposed half step up .

Been going through my archive again and I cannot believe I haven't yet posted this fine traditional. I simply love it, even though I have no clue what "Alas" means:
And please: Stay at home and play guitar! (check the link)

Another march on the last day of March: There are some melodies that just do not go out of your head. And some operas are full of them. I did a little mash-up of two themes from "Carmen" by Bizet: March of the Toreadors / Habanera. Initially I wanted to bring to paper the entire Toreador March, including the first part, but I confess this is beyond my abilities (not the tabbing, but the playing).
March 29, 2020
Something very German today. The "Lindenstrasse". Germany's most famous TV soap, has ended today, after more than 1700 weeks.. On this occasion, I tabbed the title theme for finger style guitar. And, yes, all you wisenheimers out there, I know there is a key change half step up after that first turn. I simply left that out.
March 24, 2020
"Va Pensiero", also known as the "Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves" from Verdi's opera Nabucco.
All the best to all of you. Stay at home with your loved ones and make music.
March 18, 2020
One more in the Classical Corner:
From Shostakovich’s Suite for Variety Band, the famous Waltz #2. Originally in C minor (put Capo on III for original key).
Full of cheats and simplifications as always, and, unfortunately had to be octavated down in the last part, just to make it playable.
PS: OOPS... uploaded a very early version. File ending _v3 is the correct one (v2 also contained a mistake .....I am getting old).
March 06, 2020
Mathilda everybody (Ukulele)
February 21, 2020
One of my preferred Kitchen Jam Tunes: Tabhair Dom Do Lamh (Ukulele Low G)
And, upon kind request Rhiannon (Guitar, regular tuning)
February 17, 2020
No killer chords today , just a calm playalong tune: Gabriella's Song (Guitar / Drop D)
January 07, 2020
Hi Again Everybody and Happy New Year. I hope you started off just as good as I did.
From my side, this is gonna be another busy daytime-job year at least until end of October. But no complaints.
Over the off-season between the years I have prepared another premiere. A guitar compilation of some tunes of the worlds greatest band ever. Enjoy.
- Fab Four for Fingerstyle (Guitar)
And, what's more, I had a phantastic and very challenging song on my list for years. After having seen a documentary on Kate Bush I took some time to finalize it.
